Case history

Fiumicino - 2020

The BIM Management service for Aeroporti di Roma lasted about 12 months: it focused on the improvement of the procedures and information documents for BIM implementation during the construction of new infrastructures and restructuring and maintenance of the existing ones, with support on the management of two pilot projects.
We also dealt with the drafting of BIM Guidelines and Operating Instructions, as well as supporting the management of the tools and processes definition referring to the CDE (Common Data Environment) that ADR decided to develop on a customized platform, collaborating with high-profile companies.
We supported their HR department in defining new specialized company profiles for BIM, planning technical training for Model Authoring and Model Validation operations.

Rome - 2019

We supported Anas BIM Team for about 10 months. Anas is a company that manages the network of Italian roads and motorways, and they needed to review their processes to align them with the ISO 9001 and BIM standard procedures, focusing on model validation by SA.
Our consulting activity involved coordination for BIM Guides drafting, including alignment with PDR UNI 74/19 and verification of documents application on two pilot projects.
The SGBIM certification audit performed by ICMQ completed the improvement process of the BIM implementation, according to the multi-year roadmap.

Rome - 2022

We are currently supporting the implementation of the BIM Management System and related processes of Alstom SpA, a French group operating in the construction of railway infrastructures and locomotives.
The path with Alstom includes supervising BIM Guidelines drafting and local standard information documentation, with reference to the international rules already present in the group, verifying their application on a pilot project.
We’re overseeing CDE (Common Data Environment) set up, as well as training activities planning – these activities are going ti be provided in the coming months and will focus and Model Authoring and Model & Code Checking software.

Mestre - 2016

Save Group SpA, Polo Aeroportuale del Nord Est managing company, was supported in BIM processes implementation. Save IT department needed training on BIM Authoring software and model query: this need has been then extended to Save Engineering for the Information Management of two pilot projects regarding airport infrastructures expansion from the entrust of the project to the Model & Code Checking.
The BIM Management service lasted 18 months and focused on the creation and support of a high-level steering committee which oversaw identifying BIM implementation areas in the company and of defining a specific profile for the integration of a BIM Manager in staff.

Sesto Fiorentino - 2018

Thales Group is a French multinational company that designs, develops and manufactures electrical systems as well as devices and equipment for the aerospace, defense, transportation and security sectors. Our BIM Management consulting for the Italian site was focused on supporting the BIM Manager for the start-up of the corporate implementation of the BIM Management System. This implementation was oriented towards the growth of the brand’s value, with respect to the rail transport chain.
During the 16 months of service, we provided personalized training on software and processes for both operational resources and coordinators, followed by mentoring activities on a pilot project, for design and management processes optimization of the construction site thanks to the WBS.

Deerns Italia SpA is the territorial headquarters of one of the major engineering firms operating worldwide in building physics, energy, communication networks, asset management, transport & logistics, and safety & security areas. The activity with Deerns Italia SpA focused on the support of the BIM Team for BIM and Quality Management System implementation, according to the rules of BIM Circle from the Dutch head office.
Our support was aimed at the implementation of BIM processes according to PDR UNI 74:19 and ISO 9001: 15, finalizing the activities to achieve the certifications of compliance with the standards.
The goal was achieved in just 8 months, with the positive audit carried out by ICMQ at the Milan office.
