CAD to BIM LOD B modeling of a university department at a basic design level with issue of planimetric, architectural and structural drawings.
The project involves the construction of a compact building with simple lines, capable of being “recognizable” and also efficient from an energy point of view, thanks to innovative solutions. The entire complex will be surrounded by a large green area with trees, equipped mainly for student needs and covered by a wi-fi network.
The main building, distributed around two courtyards, will have a quadrangular plan and will be characterized by ribbon windows that will run along the facades, will host the library and the teaching center of the University, student and refreshment areas, the second building will instead host technical rooms.
In order to limit the environmental impact, innovative solutions have been included in the design, such as the use of eco-compatible materials, the installation of a solar panel system to be placed on the roof of the building, integrated water production and storage systems domestic hot water and an artesian well. Finally, a storage and pumping system will allow rainwater to be used to irrigate green areas.
