Project of a public housing building developed in flexible housing modules, which allows for modular and assembleable management. The building consists of 8 apartments on 4 levels, as well as a basement and a common roof. The compositional and typological proposal can be repeated throughout the territory and aims to generate an innovative experience of neighborhood solidarity between different fragile families and young people.
The objective was that to create ecological, economical, safe and reassuring accommodation within the building, with the aim of responding to the new housing needs that have arisen also in light of the recent pandemic events. This not only guarantees citizens access to decent housing, but also the right to live in a truly sustainable context.
The physical redevelopment of the areas, in this case, becomes social redevelopment. Economy and eco-compatible materials (wood and natural fibres), “clean” energy (photovoltaic, waste water recovery), optimization of environmental factors were the most developed themes.
